Amilia K Spicer to Release New Single and Music Video “Harlan” on September 7th!

The music video premieres on September 7th, and the track goes to radio on September 10th.

Los Angeles, CA, August 31, 2018 – After a whirlwind year of touring around the United States, Americana songwriter Amilia K Spicer is thrilled to officially release “Harlan” as her third single from “Wow and Flutter.” The music video premieres on September 7th, and the track goes to radio on September 10th.

“Harlan” marks Spicer’s third foray into directing music videos for this album, once again producing and filming it with production partner, Edward Romero.

Using footage from Harlan and rural Pennsylvania (Spicer’s childhood state),the video follows Spicer’s personal journey to the birthplace of her father. It merges landscapes from both, with vacant lots and abandoned buildings becoming farm landscapes with a golden hue.

“I know what I cannot see,” she sings. “Dove tailed swallow been follow in’ me. I cannot reach it, I can’t outrun – take these halves and make them one.”

Spicer’s lyrics are full of vivid imagery, and sensual confessions. As she sings of her dreams “filled with waltzes,” describes the whisky running through her “like Mississippi mud,” and remembers the sound of “a fiddle playing in a child’s room,” the scenes evoke a crystal-clear glimpse into her nostalgia.

When Spicer traveled to Harlan to film the music video, she searched for her Father’s home, only to find a mostly barren lot at the address.

“I wandered around,” Spicer recalls, “and noticed something shiny in the dirt. Turned out to be several pieces of coal, which I now have. Sometimes a lump of coal is a beautiful gift.”

In “Harlan,” what American Songwriter Magazine said of “Wow and Flutter” rings true: It’s “a timeless brand-new Americana classic.”

Dynamos Comes Out Blazing With New Single “Stainless” Available 4/20!

Needless to say, the hype is higher than ever for the emerging band.

“Stainless” is rock and roll that’s both timeless and forward-looking. It is Dynamos at their strongest, with a steely bassline running through the song that truly emphasizes the power behind Nadia E’s voice.Wasting no time, “Stainless” opens with Ian Nakazawa delivering a jolting drum performance. The rest of the band joins in on the antics, and crackling guitar licks build toward a crescendo, while Nadia demands a partner that can keep up with her. “Don’t run,” she sings, “Come on, son. The track’s accompanying music video will be released on April 13, one week ahead of the single release. Much like Dynamos’ previous videos, this is a unique performance video, as the studio version of “Stainless” is replaced with the version recorded live during the video shoot.

“When You Come Around” is the first single from Cavier’s upcoming full-length album, Blue Room.

Atlanta-based Pop-Soul Singer/Songwriter James Patrick Morgan Drops New Single to Radio, “Expected” December 5

“Expected” is the first track from Morgan’s upcoming EP ‘Art + Work = Love’ due out Early 2017

Los Angeles, CA, December 08, 2016 – James Patrick Morgan, the Atlanta-based pop-rock and soul singer/songwriter, releases the first single from his upcoming EP today. This single, titled “Expected,” is the first song on the EP ‘Art + Work = Love,’ which will be released in early 2017 through Cloverland Entertainment. “Expected” is currently available to stream via SoundCloud and will be available to purchase on iTunes and all major digital outlets at the time of the EP release.

Morgan says that “songwriting comes easily” to him, and it’s evident that is true from the opening notes of “Expected.” The Sony Southern Talent Expo winner’s wide ranging influences from blues to soul to pop and soft rock are all given time on the track – from the acoustic verses to the catchy horn lines and soulful vocal harmonies on the chorus. The song features an infectious, danceable groove that carries the listener through the story of two people sharing “one night, two nights, three nights” and eventually falling in love.

‘Art + Work = Love’ is a five-song collection that James Patrick Morgan describes as one that “represents [him] better than most past recordings,” because it captures much more of “what [he does] in a live setting.” The EP was recorded in several legendary studios across the United States such as Los Angeles’ East West Studios, where the Beach Boys recorded many of their hits, and the storied Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN. Los Angeles-Based Indie Rock Band Cranky George to Release New Single “Nighttime” on September 16

“Nighttime” is the first single from Cranky George’s debut full-length album, Fat Lot of Good, out October 14 in digital, CD, and limited-edition vinyl formats.

Los Angeles, CA, September 15, 2016 – Cranky George, the folk-influenced indie rock band featuring actor Dermot Mulroney and co-founder of The Pogues, James Fearnley, will be releasing the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album, Fat Lot of Good, on September 16. This single, “Nighttime” draws from a variety of influences including legendary Canadian indie rockers Arcade Fire and will be accompanied by a music video, which will also be released on Sept. 16. Cranky George’s album Fat Lot of Good is their first full-length album and will be released on October 14.

Cranky George describes “Nighttime” as “Big in the way that Coldplay is big,” and says that the song is “A siren call for lovers – for anyone who's ever slept beside someone they loved and wished the night would never end.” Featuring Kieran Mulroney on vocals, the song is a mid-tempo song from the heart and draws equally from groups as diverse as Elbow, The Decemberists, Coldplay, and Band of Horses while incorporating dripping guitars and horns at the climax. The accompanying music video features the five members of Cranky George as they perform the song and interweaves the story of a woman in distress, pining and longing for a lost love.

Recorded over a span of five years at Brad’s Seagrass Studio, Fat Lot of Good tips music from the bucket that dredges the confluence of the Danube, the Shannon and the Missouri. The album will be released in digital and CD formats, with a limited edition of 450 double gatefold albums of heavyweight vinyl, each signed and numbered by the band. The music on the record, while diverse, features common threads such as Cranky George’s signature folk-inspired instrumentation – including accordion, violin, mandolin, acoustic guitars and ukuleles.

As a perfect foil to the effervescence of the musicianship in Cranky George, the band’s blend of vocal harmonies, its cross-graining of voices – James’s chiselly drone, the honeyed timbre of Sebastian’s voice, Brad’s incisive falsetto, the Mulroney brothers’ baritones – Kieran’s urgent, Dermot’s lusty – is as sturdy as marine plywood.

Fat Lot of Good embraces fourteen songs, individually divergent, but which together ply a course from haven, round horn and back to harbor, by means of lullaby, torch song, sea shanty and murder ballad – an album which, with compassion, irony, humor and sometimes horror, tells stories of desire, love, loss, cruelty, ruination and pity.

About Cranky George:
Los Angeles based Cranky George has brought together members and musical styles from both sides of the Atlantic to create a unique take on folk-influenced indie rock that is as special and diverse as the members themselves.

James Fearnley, co- founder and accordionist for the London-Irish folk-punk band, The Pogues, and the Mulroney brothers, Kieran and Dermot, siblings from a large, Irish-American family from Alexandria, VA, first came together as neighbors in Hollywood, California. While both of the Mulroney siblings are known for their work on and behind the screen with movies, they are both classically trained musicians; Dermot on the cello, mandolin, and guitar and Kieran on violin, ukulele, and tenor guitar. In 1994, they formed the LA based band, The Low and Sweet Orchestra, which released an acclaimed record, Goodbye to All That, on Interscope Records in 1996. After The Low and Sweet Orchestra split, both Mulroney brothers and Fearnley formed the Cranky George Trio.

During this time, Brad Wood, who has produced records for artist from the likes of The Bangles, Ben Lee, Pete Yorn, and Veruca Salt, was added on bass. To round out the new line up of Cranky George, Sebastian Sheehan Visconti, a sound designer and sound effects editor who notably worked on the television series The Muppets and The Flash, joined on percussion. After five years of work, Cranky George’s full-length debut – Fat Lot of Good – will be released on October 14, 2016.

New York, NY, June 20, 2016 -  US based alt­pop/ trip­hop collective, AOA (Astronauts Of Antiquity) debut their single, ‘Paradise’. The song’s recent release date coincided with the March Against Monsanto phenomenon taking place in major cities worldwide. “Country Radio,” along with the rest of the tracks off of Blood Like Wine, were recorded in the famous Castle Recording Studios in Nashville, TN with well-known country producer Jeff Huskins (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Shania Twain). With her stirring, soulful vocals, Angie discusses a sparking infatuation with a prospective lover. Bruyere’s rasp and rawness is what shines through this upbeat, edgy Americana single.

In her youth, Angie Bruyere began songwriting when she started creating music out of her poetry. This single from the writer of the 70’s hit “Express Yourself” features a funky blend of classic and contemporary sounds that will excite new old and new fans.

Set to release on April 15th, Charles Wright’s newest effort, Something to Make You Feel Good is one of the year’s most anticipated soul/funk/R&B albums. The 13 tracks showcase Charles’ legendary songwriting as well as his understated guitar lines and vocals. The lead single “She Don’t Believe in Love” is storytelling of a relationship and their attempts to reconcile their love. Comer’s Highly Antipicated EP Will Be Released March 25th

Los Angeles, CA, March 14, 2016 — Formerly the front man of the Dance Hall Pimps, RJ Comer redefines his musical style with a stripped down version of Americana Rock. RJ released his new single “Nightly Suicide” on February 26th with an accompanying music video due out March 7th. This is first single off of his upcoming EP also named, Nightly Suicide and will be released on March 25th.

The metaphorical title track is RJ’s homage to Charles Bukowski—the poet laureate of barflies. The song also illustrates RJ’s early life, which he describes as “a lot of heavy drinking and nightly self-destruction.” Comer’s gritty, soulful vocals and dark riffs authentically convey the stark and sometimes surreal lyrics and imagery of the song.

The music video is inspired by Bukowski’s screenplay Barfly. Directed by Guillermo Rodriguez, “Nightly Suicide” was filmed in Granada, Spain and at Los Angeles’s legendary music venue, The Mint.

The soon-to-be released EP Nightly Suicide will be available for presale on March 11th.
